Farro

MAKES ABOUT 4 CUPS

INGREDIENTS

2 Cups Farro
4 Cups of water or stock

DIRECTIONS

A good rule of thumb is 2 cups of liquid for every cup of grain. We would forgo water and use a more flavorful liquid like Chicken Stock or even Bone Broth! Put the water (or stock) and farro in a pot and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to low, cover and simmer for up to 40 minutes. The grains should have absorbed most of the liquid. If not drain the grains in colander.
